Every order is important to us because we know how important it is to you. We earnestly endeavour to please every customer with beautiful flowers and accommodating service. Also, if you are not completely satisfied with the quality of one of our products, then please contact us immediately and we will promptly take the appropriate action. 

 We are not always able to guarantee delivery at a specific time of day, especially during busy holiday periods. Before major holidays, we strongly recommend that you place your orders several days in advance.  
 
Taxes are based on prevailing rates in the area of our store location. 

Please note that all prices are presented in USD unless otherwise noted. 

 

Funeral Arrangements 

 Sunday deliveries may not always be available. 

 

Delivery to Hospitals 

We are experienced at making deliveries to hospitals. When placing your order, please be sure to include the hospital name and telephone number, the name of the recipient and room number or ward of the recipient. We will send your gift bouquet in accordance with facility procedures, as most hospitals do not allow florists to personally deliver to individual rooms. Please note that many ICU patients are not permitted to receive flowers. Please check with the hospital before placing your order.

Recipient Maybe Contacted: In some cases, the florist may contact the recipient to ensure s/he will be home to accept the delivery. 

Request to Leave Item at Door: The customer assumes all liability for requests to leave arrangements. We highly discourage requesting delivery to a doorstep, porch, or yard. We cannot be held responsible for missing or faulty product , freezing product, heat damaged product  because of this request.

Fresh Flowers:  We are committed to delivering your important emotional sentiments on time and as fresh and beautiful as possible. Because of the nature, seasonality, and regional availability of flowers it is sometimes necessary to make substitutions 

Plants: For green and blooming plants, similar plants may be substituted of equal or greater value. Containers for plants will be as close as possible

 

Data Privacy

By ordering from our website customer data such as name, address, email, phone number, and credit card will be securely saved within the order itself for processing purposes. If an account is created when checking out, the system will save this information to expedite future purchases. Checking out as a guest will cause the system to not retain this data outside of what is necessary for processing the specified order.

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology. SSL encrypts your order information as additional protection against the decoding of that information by anyone other than us. Cancellation 

To provide you with the best possible service, you can cancel your order at anytime prior to delivery. If your gift is en route or delivered, we will be unable to cancel the order. To cancel an order, please call our store. 

 

Returns/Refunds

As the purchaser of items, the purchaser agrees that:

As flowers are a perishable item, returns are only accepted under the following circumstances:
All issues must be indicated to us within 24 hours of delivery by calling 574-376-4045 or emailing mapleavenueflowers@yahoo.com 


We will happily replace any damaged item, which may have had its quality affected during shipping or a
store credit may be available.


Returns are accepted on a “quality” basis only — issues of “not liking” the arrangement are not grounds for a return.


As flowers are perishable, you must water them, otherwise they will not last long. It is the recipient’s responsibility to re-cut and water the arrangement.


If you are ordering flowers for someone else, be sure you are choosing something they would like — style preferences are not grounds for returns.


As all flowers are not always in season, or not in stock, we reserve the right to substitute blooms.  If you require a specific product, please call and check for its availability.


Delivery times are generalized to “morning” and “afternoon” deliveries. If you require a timed delivery, please call and speak with our designers to make those arrangements.


It is your responsibility, as the sender, to ensure that the recipient will be at the location of the delivery on the date of delivery. If the recipient goes home early (if delivered to a workplace) or is out of town (for home deliveries), unbeknownst to us, it is not cause for refund or exchange as we have fulfilled our obligation in delivering upon the date of request as ordered by the sender.

Follow these Flower Care tips for your newly freshly delivered floral arrangement for long-lasting results!



Caring for Flowers purchased in Vase or Other Container

  • Flowers Love A Cooler Climate-display your blooms in a cooler temperature area of your space!
  • Keep fresh flowers away from drafts and extreme temperatures, which can quickly dry out the flowers causing wilting.
  • Do not place your arrangement near fruit or in the path of cigarette smoke as it releases ethylene gas which can cause flowers to wilt.
  • Placing flower arrangements on windowsills and other areas with full sun is not recommended and may cause wilting.
  • Keep your vase filled with water! All flower/ foliage stems should be submerged this way they will last longer.
  • If your flowers came in a basket or container with foam, add fresh water every day.
  • Immediately remove dead or wilting leaves and stems from fresh flower arrangements.
  • Refill water as it gets muddy or cloudy.

Caring for a Fresh Bouquet

  • For best results, cut stems with a sharp knife at an angle about one to two inches from the bottom. This allows them to better absorb water. Do not use scissors to cut your flowers because they can crush the stems and prevent water absorption.
